Growing up in a metropolis, I strive to explore the representations of a contemporary city's many forms of duality, conveying a personal narrative of co-existence. This draws on the unique perspectives of an artist from Hong Kong.    

           In an attempt to imply emotions visually in my work, I demonstrate a tinge of poetic nostalgia. The compositions highlight a sense of home within a claustrophobic environment. Unusual characters populate these spaces of grunginess, exploring possibilities surrounding social constructs.            

           My art consists of conspicuous line work with digital enhancements. Each composition is penciled on heavy weight paper and scanned at a high resolution. Further emulation of traditional mark making is then incorporated through the use of digital brushes and layers of scanned textures. The media included is a combination of watercolor, color pencils, pencils, inks and digital coloring.
